About Me

Welcome! My name is Kyle and here's a bit about me.

I have always been a creator at heart and am always searching for solutions to everyday problems and strongly believe anyone can make anything. My passion for engineering is cemented and enables me to use the resources at my disposal to make my thought-provoked ideas transform into physical products. The process is never linear but those ups and downs are what make it worthwhile.

I study Mechanical Engineering at Queen's University.  Below you will find some of my favorite projects

Remote Controlled Car

A fully functional entirely 3D Printed RC Car with true independent suspension and an open differential. Designed using Solidworks

Garth Webb SS. Skateboard Storage Rack

A 12-slot skateboard rack that's compatable with longboards, pennyboards, and scooters. Features multiple security features. Made by a student for the students.

Arduino Refrigerator Monitor

An Arduino-based environment monitor operated using an Adafruits ItsyBitsy microcontroller. Features humidity, temperature, pressure, and light sensors.

Crank-Slider Mechanism

A 3D printed model of a reciprocating piston engine powered with a DC motor. Designed to convert rotary motion to straight-line motion.

Tic-Tac Gun

A 3D-printed model of a toy gun designed specifically to fire Tic-Tac's thanks to a spring loaded mechanism

Piston Assembly

A true scale 3D printed model of a single piston cylinder with a manual crankshaft. Tested to a maximum of 1600 RPM.

Custom Headphone Case

A fully 3D printed case to store a pair of JBL T450 headphones. Has convenient micro USB charger storage inside the case.

Arduino RC Airplane

CURRENTLY FIGURING IT OUT

Remote Controlled Car   V2

Version 2 will have more responsive turning for cornering, greater torque for climbs and going through tall grass, and new 100mm shocks.
